When dealing with a younger sibling whose attention span is not up to the challenge, it may be helpful for someone to take the little sibling aside for a separate activity for the short duration of your Moppet's practice time with you.

How do I fit practice in when my child has a guest over?

If your child has a visitor, why not include him/her in the practice session? You might get a few more little people interested in exploring music together, thus bringing some of the fun they have in their Moppets class into your home, as well as giving them more opportunities to explore the concepts on their own time and terms.
